GIBBONCUP2018第1戦東京大会4月14－15日開催！

世界最古のスラックライン・シリーズ戦、今年も開催決定！第１戦は4月14日，15日の東京大会！

ギボンカップ2018実行委員会は2018年4月14日（土）、15日（日）の第１戦・東京大会を皮切りに、全国3か所にて「GIBBON CUP 2018」を開催することを発表いたします。

スラックラインとは、幅5cmの伸縮性のあるナイロンベルトの上でバランスを取りながら立ったり、歩いたりと様々な動作を行う、綱渡りとトランポリンを融合したようなスポーツです。年齢や性別などに制限されずにバランスやインナーマッスルを鍛えることができる道具として、学校やフィッ トネスジム、アスリートのトレーニングや理学療法にも取り入れられ、世界中に300万人以上の愛好者がいると言われています。近年は、テレビや雑誌などで取り上げられる機会も多く、認知度も高まりを見せています。

スラックラインの中でも、ラインの上で様々な技（トリック）、アクロバティックなパフォーマンスを披露するのがトリックラインとされ、GIBBON CUPはこのトリックラインを競う世界唯一のスラックラインのシリーズ戦です。GIBBON CUPは、JSFed(日本スラックライン連盟)の公認大会（以下同大会）となります。

We are excited to announce that the first game of GIBBON CUP 2018 series will be held in Futakotamagawa Rise, Tokyo on April 14th and 15th.

Slacklining is becoming one of the fast growing sports in the world and recognized as an extreme balance sport which involves walking and balancing on a stretchy 1” or 2” wide line tensioned between two anchor points. Nowadays, people at all age enjoy slacklining for a variety of benefits, including balance, relaxation, mental focus, and recreation. Even top athletes use it as part of their training regimens. As slacklining grows in popularity, there are known to be more than 3 million fans worldwide. 

Among slacklining, tricklining consists of various tricks and acrobatic performances while balancing on the line. Tricklining is a competition sport where the whole performance leads to the victory. GIBBON CUP is not only the longest-running slackline competition in the world but also the world's only slackline contest series. GIBBON CUP will be an official event of JSFed (Japan Slackline Federation).
